After a semester at Colorado, transferred to SBU … As a freshman, reached the regionals of the AIAW, then went to the AIAW nationals as a sophomore … Joining the NAIA, helped SBU to two national tournaments playing as number two both years … Was honorable mention All-American as a junior and became the first senior college All-American for SBU in 1982 … Also qualified for Academic All-American honors … Became head tennis professional at Denver Country Club in 1986 and later served as the DCC's athletic director for many years … Was ranked number one in singles, doubles and mixed doubles in Colorado and in the Intermountain States tennis rankings … Is a member of the USPTA, an avid skier and was involved in community service with the handicapped in the Denver area.
