Quincy, IL. — The SBU women's basketball team played Quincy University Saturday afternoon falling in a tight contest 65-68, bringing their overall record to 5-14 and GLVC record to 2-11.
In the first three quarters Quincy held the lead, but the Bearcats roared back in the fourth, putting the pressure on the Hawks. The Bearcats managed to score 24 points in the 4th quarter alone, outsourcing the Hawks by nine. Though a last second three by the Bearcats was not enough as they fell in the end.
Eviyon Richardson (#11) led the team in points, with a total of 17. Not far behind her was junior
Kamiyah Hurd (#30) with 15 points along with her game high nine rebounds.
Natalia Crooke also reached double figures at 11 points.
