Bolivar, MO – The Southwest Baptist University women's basketball team fell short to the Greyhounds of the University of Indianapolis Friday night with a final score of 56-65. This loss moves the Bearcat's overall record to 5-11 and 2-8 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
In a game where every point mattered, the Bearcats were highly efficient on the free throw line, going 14-17. The Bearcats outrebounded the Greyhounds, 32-24 led by junior
Kamiyah Hurd with 10 rebounds.
Hurd ended the game with a double-double, scoring a game high 20 points. Graduate student
Natalia Crooke went 5-12 on the 3-point line, scoring a total of 17 points throughout the game.
The Bearcats will play again at home Saturday January 24th at 1:00 PM as they look to defeat the Lewis University Flyers.
