Romeoville, IL. - The SBU baseball team dropped the series finale earlier Saturday against Lewis moving their record to 14-28 (7-17 GLVC).
 
Lewis picked up where they left off in game three with an early three run lead. Zeke Skinner answered in the third inning with a double to bring in Dominic Tellez for the first Bearcat run. The top of the batting order connected for SBU's second run as well in the seventh. Dominic Tellez doubled to left field, Zeke Skinner followed up with a pop fly out to bring Tellez to third. Lane Snow executed a base hit to bring Tellez home again.
 
Dominic Tellez concludes this series having gone a staggering 9-16 at bat (.563) to continue a dominant season at the plate.
 
Jaden Thacker started on the mound, going six innings for the Bearcats. Jake Fuller and Caden Norman also got an inning each.
 
The Bearcats are back at home Friday against the University of Illinois-Springfield as they continue conference play at Dodson field beginning at 5pm.
