Softball Falls to the Saints in Doubleheader Games

St. Louis, Mo. – The SBU softball team continued their season Friday afternoon falling in two games to the Maryville Saints. This moves their record to 19-24 (11-13 GLVC) on the season.

Game 1: L, 0-6
The Saints got off to an early lead in the 1st and held the Bearcats scoreless while adding on throughout. The Bearcats got on the scoreboard first with two runs off strong base running from McConville and Margo Frossard. One run came from the Saints in the bottom half of the 1st then they tied it up in the 3rd. The game remained tied at two until the 5th where the Saints took a three-run lead.
