St Louis, MO. - The SBU Baseball team concluded their road trip with a tight loss to the Maryville Saints, 3-5. This moves their record to 14-24 (7-13 GLVC).

The majority of this series has been defensive battles, and this game was no different. The Bearcats capitalized with bases loaded on a
Tre Mungin RBI for the first score of the game. After a three-run response by the Saints,
Dominic Tellez brought the deficit to one with an RBI scoring
Cayden Shaver. The Saints extended their run count to five going into the 5th.
Tre Mungin doubled to left center to tally his second RBI of the day, and the final score of the game. This is the 7th time this season Mungin has had multi-RBI games.
Dominic Tellez's three hits in this game also tied a season high.

Jake Fuller subbed in for starter
Jaden Thacker at the beginning of the bottom 5th. In three innings of play he notched two strikeouts and only allowed one hit.
Caden Norman finished the game on the mound.

The SBU baseball team will be in Romeoville, IL. Thursday to take on the Lewis Flyers at noon, beginning their four-game series.
