Bolivar, MO.- The SBU Men's Tennis team fell to the Southern Arkansas University Muleriders, ranked 50th in the Nation, on Tuesday 0-4. This makes them 6-6 for the season.

Starting off the match in doubles action was Juani Morresi and
Alejandro Bravo for the #1 team falling to their opponent in a close matchup (5-7). Then the Bearcats bounced back in the second doubles match with
Bojan Radoman and
Alejandro Beneyto Sanchez winning their match easily (6-3). However, the Muleriders took the doubles point with the last win over
Alex Crawford and
Federico Riolo for the #3 team (0-6).

The Bearcats continued to battle in the single matches but fell in the first three ending the match. First Sanchez in the #1 spot fell in a tough three set matchup (6-4, 3-6, 0-6). The Muleriders continued to dominate in the single matchups with two set wins over the Bearcats for the next two matches. Radoman fell in the #2 spot (0-6, 2-6) and Bravo fell in the #3 spot (2-6, 1-6). The Muleriders clinched so the remaining singles matches were not played out.

The Bearcats will stay home for their next match and begin conference play. SBU will play the University of Missouri- St. Louis Tritons on Friday, April 4 at 2:00 pm in the John A. Bryant Tennis Center.
