St. Louis, MO.- The SBU Women's Basketball team fell to the Maryville Saints on Thursday 59-75. This puts them at 8-17 (6-13 GLVC) for the season.

Maryville jumped on the lead early in the game, separating themselves from SBU. However, the Bearcats went on an 11-0 run in the second quarter to make it tied 26-26. At halftime the score was 31-41, with the Saints getting the lead back. Maryville came out strong in the second half, overpowering the Bearcats leading them to the win.

Amber Storr was SBU's top scorer tonight with 15 points. All 12 players that got in the game entered the rebound column,
Tori Hamilton contributing seven and
Eviyon Richardson with six rebounds. This led to SBU beating Maryville out on the glass 50-43. The Bearcats were also successful in their points in the paint winning this out 30-20.

The Bearcats will stay on the road for their last game of the season. They will travel to Lebanon, IL. to play McKendree University on Saturday, March 1 at 3:00 pm in the Melvin Price Convocation Center.
