Lebanon Ill.- The SBU Women's Basketball team fell to the Mckendree University Bearcats on Saturday 56-81. That concludes their 24-25 season 8-18 (6-14 GLVC).

The SBU Bearcats were the first team on the board with back-to-back 3-pointers by
Amber Storr. They had the lead for over half of the first quarter until McKendree went on a 18-0 run to separate themselves. The McKendree Bearcats continued to expand the gap going into halftime with the lead of 44-35. Entering the second half, SBU started to struggle as Mckendree put more pressure on and began to run away with the lead. In the fourth quarter SBU couldn't catch up as Mckendree put the game out of reach.

Three Bearcats made double digits in the scoring column today.
Sierra Jones led the team with 13 points, followed closely by
Khylee Massey with 11 and
Tori Hamilton with 10. Hamilton not only contributed in scoring, but also led the team in rebounds with 11 securing a double-double to finish out her Bearcat basketball career.
