Bolivar, Mo. - The SBU football team wrapped up their home 2025 tour with a game against the #12 ranked Indianapolis Greyhounds. Southwest Baptist had trouble containing the #3 offense in the Nation falling 21-66. This moves them to 3–6 (2-5 GLVC) on the season.
The 21 points by the Bearcats is the most points scored by a GLVC team against the Greyhounds this season. This came from three SBU touchdowns by
Kamau Ransom,

He is the front runner for the conference triple crown award leading in both receptions (59) and yards (900). Smith had potentially the touchdown of the season with a 52 yard touchdown run where he hurdled two defenders en route to the end zone. Rasmussen recorded his first touchdown of the season with his total of 57 receiving yards in the game.
Leading to a couple of the touchdowns was receptions from senior
Avery Lambert. He recorded 154 yards off six receptions, averaging 25.7 yards per reception. He is now averaging 20.2 yards per catch this season which currently ranks fourth best in SBU single season history.
