Bolivar, Mo. — Southwest Baptist University women's soccer team faced off against Rockhurst University on their home field this afternoon, falling 0-2 after a fierce back and forth struggle. The loss puts the Bearcats at 3-11-2 for the season (1-9-2 GLVC).
In the first half, the Bearcats battled against the Rockhurst Hawks with neither team able to score. With offense not able to gain momentum the Bearcats defense held the Hawks at bay. Sophomore goalkeeper

At the start of the second half, SBU came out strong and created multiple scoring opportunities with senior defender
Alyssa Villavicencio (#5) and freshman forward
