Liberty, Mo. — Southwest Baptist men's soccer closed out a historic weekend on the road with a 3–1 win over William Jewell on Sunday afternoon. The victory completed the Bearcats' first full GLVC weekend sweep since the program's restart and secured their most points in a single season since joining the conference. After the half, SBU took complete control of the match.

Goalkeeper Jan-Henry Schafer anchored the SBU defense with five saves, keeping the Cardinals off the board for the final 79 minutes. The Bearcats out shot William Jewell 13–8, including an 8–6 advantage in shots on goal.
With the win, Southwest Baptist improves to 6–7–2 overall and 3–6–2 in GLVC play, while William Jewell drops to 2–8–3 (1–6–3 GLVC).
The Bearcats return home for the final three matches of the regular season. SBU will next host Rockhurst University (9–2–2) on Friday, October 24, in what will be the biggest GLVC matchup to date for the Bearcats.
