Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU men's basketball team fell in a defensive battle against the McKendree University Bearcats 46-63. That moves them to 6-9 (3-6 GLVC) on the season.
Despite having difficulties on the offensive end, the Bearcats remained strong on the defensive side holding McKendree to only 63 points and 41% from the field. For the second straight game Senior
David Hector recorded a double-double, this game with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Drenin Dinkins lead the team in scoring with 13 points scoring seven from free throws.
Southwest Baptist will return to action on Thursday as they hit the road heading to Romeoville, Ill. They will battle the Lewis Flyers at approximately 7:30pm.
