Jefferson City, MO - The SBU Women's basketball team secured their third conference win of the season as they defeated the Lincoln University (MO) Blue Tigers 77-52. That moves them to 5-8 (3-4 GLVC) on the season. 
 
The Bearcats set a blistering pace to start, outscoring the Blue Tigers 25-10 in the first quarter. Amber Storr put together another great game finishing with an efficient 18 points in 27 minutes. Junior Tori Hamilton nearly added another double-double to her resume as she had a stat line of 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 1 block. Khylee Massey also scored in double figures, finishing with 11 points, a season high, shooting 5-6 from the field. As a team, the Bearcats dominated inside, outscoring Lincoln 36-14 on points in the paint. 
 
The team will return for a two game home stand next week beginning with a match up against the University of Illinois-Springfield Prairie Stars on Thursday, January 16th at 5:30 PM at the Meyer Wellness Center.
