Lebanon, IL - This Sunday, the SBU Women's soccer team faced off McKendree University for their second conference matchup of the weekend. Ranked #13th in the nation, McKendree defeated SBU 0-3, moving the Bearcats to 0-6-2 on the season and 0-4-1 in conference.
During her second start of the season, Sophomore keeper Sydney King recorded a season high 12 saves against McKendree. SBU had their closest opportunity early on in the game, with Junior Tamerra Gantt having a shot on goal in the 13th minute.Â
The Bearcats will return to action on Friday, October 4th as they face Lewis University. The game will take place in Bolivar, Missouri at SBU Soccer Field with a kickoff scheduled for 4:00 pm.
