Quincy, Mo. - This Sunday afternoon, the SBU softball team continued their second conference doubleheader of the weekend. The Bearcats hit the road with two more wins under their belt after defeating Quincy University, making this the first time in program history. SBU moves to 16-24 overall and 5-11 in the GLVC.
 
In game one, Emma Kreisel was credited for the win, pitching five strikeouts across seven innings. Haley Sites cleaned up with a home run in the fourth, and Angelina Micone contributed to two of the Bearcat's 8 runs, finishing with a score of 8-3.
 
Paige Leithead and Taylor Howard split time on the mound in game two, leading the team to a 15-9 win against the Hawks. The Bearcats dominated, recording several season highs during the seven-inning game:

Southwest Baptist will return to action this Sunday at Drury University in Springfield, MO. First pitch will happen at 12:00 PM at Thompson Field.
