Rolla, Mo. - The SBU softball team jumped back into conference play on Friday afternoon as they hit the road to face Missouri S&T in their 6th consecutive doubleheader. The Bearcats' record moves to 11-19 (0-6 GLVC) after falling short in both games.

In game one, Senior
Chloee Sams put on an outstanding performance from the batter's box. She led the Bearcats with three RBI's, including a home run in the 5th inning which made this a season high in both areas.
Margo Frossard scored two runs for the Bearcats, but the team fell to the Miners 4-7 after 7 innings.

In game two, SBUÂ pitched several girls including
Taylor Howard,
Kylee Dewey, and
Emma Kreisel. Going 2 for 2,
Kaitlyn Ragsdale led the Bearcats with a season high in both hits and doubles. SBU recorded their second loss of the day, falling 0-6 to Missouri S&T.

Southwest Baptist will return to action this Sunday at Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. First pitch will happen at 12:00 PM at the Maryville Softball Field.
