Bolivar, Mo. - The SBU softball team took on Stephens College in a double header for the second time this season Saturday afternoon, this time on their home turf. The Bearcats owned the day by taking home two wins which moves them to a record of 10-10, including four wins against the Stars this season.

In game one,
Emma Kreisel dominated once more by pitching her third consecutive shutout, fourth on the season. She struck out a season-high eight batters across seven innings, with a final score of 4-0.Â

Game two was all Bearcats, putting up multiple runs in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th innings en route to a 17-3 win.
Malea Wilson capped off the scoring with a grand slam in the bottom of the 4th. Senior
Paige Leithead was credited with the win as SBU swept the double header.

Southwest Baptist will return to action this Tuesday at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri. First pitch will happen at 3:00 PM at the South Recreation Complex.
