Rolla, Mo. – The SBU Men's Basketball team traveled to Rolla, MO to face the Missouri S&T Miners in their last road trip of the season. The Bearcats put up a good fight, but it would not be enough as they fell 60-63 making them 6-20 (2-16 GLVC) on the season.
The Bearcats were led by sophomore Jerry Abushanab who was one point away from a new career-high and a one rebound shy of a double-double, finishing with 13 points and 9 rebounds. Right behind him was junior Drew McMillin who recorded 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. Junior David Hector was also close to recording a double-double as he contributed 8 points and 7 rebounds for the Bearcats. Sophomore Sasha Glushkov also led the team in rebounds, alongside Abushanab, with 9 rebounds.
Southwest Baptist returns home for their last weekend of conference play as they start their weekend hosting the Truman State Bulldogs. Tip-off is set for 7:30 PM at the Meyer Sports Center.
