Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU men's basketball team returned home as they hosted the McKendree Bearcats in the Meyer Center. The teams battle back and forth but the McKendree Bearcats ended up on top 65-71. This moves Southwest Baptist to 6-17 (2-13 GLVC) on the season.
Sophomore
Drenin Dinkins had another incredible game for SBU scoring 26 points with another career high in field goals mad (11). With this game he reaches over 300 points on the season and over 500 points in his short career as a Bearcat. Dinkins also snagged down eight rebounds for a near double double. Junior
Drew McMillin tagged along 13 points off 50% from the field and
Sasha Glushkov had 10 points to go along with five rebounds.
Southwest Baptist will look to bounce back this Saturday, February 17
th as they have their Alumni Day. The Bearcats will host the University of Missouri-St. Louis Tritons with a scheduled tip off of 3:00pm.
