Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU men's basketball team hosted the Missouri St. Louis Tritons this afternoon on Bearcat Alumni Day. The Bearcats fell to UMSL by a final score of 55-70, moving to 6-18 (2-14 GLVC) on the season.
Sasha Glushkov had a career day for the Bearcats scoring a career high 16 points and securing 10 rebounds. His first double-double of his Bearcat career is coming off the heels of constant improvement throughout the season. After dealing with numerous injuries, he has been bouncing back recording double digit points four times in the last seven games. Today he shot 64% from the field, 66% from three, and had three blocks.
Sophomore
Drenin Dinkins led the entire game in scoring with 23 points on the game off 50% shooting. This is his fourth straight game scoring 20+ points and 9
th of the season, most by a Bearcat since 2014.
Southwest Baptist will return to action this coming Thursday as they travel to St. Louis to take on Maryville University. The Bearcats will look for revenge on the Saints in the Simon Athletic Center, February 22
