Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU women's basketball team fell to the Truman State Bulldogs 63-77 on their home court Thursday Evening. That moves them to 3-5 (1-2 GLVC) on the season.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• It was a back-and-forth game in the 1^st quarter four lead changes
• SBU had their biggest 1^st quarter lead at 9-6; with two three pointers from Kristin Edmonds
• Trailing heading into quarter 2, the Bearcats rallied to take a 26-20 lead
• They held that lead for another minute until the Bulldogs took back control heading into half in the lead 30-38
• Truman extended that lead to 10 in the early minutes until five points by Amber Storr brought it within four
• Soon after the lead built back to double digits handing Truman a 14-point win

 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Tori Hamilton lead the team in scoring with 16, shooting 66% from the field
• She recorded her third double-double of the season with 12 rebounds
• Sierra Jones recorded an SBU career high with 11 points in the game and a perfect 3-3 from beyond the arc
• Storr also notched double figures with 12 points
• The team dominated the glass again outrebounding Truman 51-40
