Springfield, Mo. – The SBU men's basketball team fell to the Drury Panthers in the Highway 13 Catfight 67-86. That loss moves them to 3-3 (1-1 GLVC) on the season.  
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• The game went back-and-forth in the early moments, with SBU holding a slight 1 pt lead a the first media timeout
• Shortly after, the Panthers took the lead for about 10 minutes
• Bearcats then went on a 14-0 run to take a 34-29 lead
• Another lead change put the Panthers with a one point lead after 20 minutes
• Five more lead changes occurred in the early minutes of half number two
• The Panthers took the final lead four minutes in and held onto that for the remainder of the game

 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Junior Bayley Crawford led all Bearcats with 16 points shooting 66% from the field
• Junior Drenin Dinkins was right behind him with 15 points including 6-6 from the charity stripe
• David Hector had a near double-double with 11 rebounds and nine points
• The Bearcats hit nine three's in the game from six different Bearcats
• Hector, Mitch Ganote, and Barron Silsby each had two three's a piece
• Bearcats continued to control the glass out rebounding the Panthers 34 to 26

The Bearcats will return to action in just a few days as they continue GLVC action at home. They will take on the Truman State Bulldogs in the Meyer Sports Center with a scheduled tipoff of 7:30pm.
