Fort Smith, Ark. – The SBU women's basketball team fell the University of Arkansas Fort-Smith 57-78 moving to 0-3 on the season.
Odett Schlegl led the team in scoring for the third straight game scoring 16 points, averaging 16.5 PPG this season.
Kristin Edmonds had her second double-digit game this season with 15 points. Senior
LJ Boyland notched her SBU high of 10 points while pulling down six rebounds and shooting 75% from the field. SBU outrebounded the Lions 49-42 with the help of 25 offensive rebounds.
SBU women's basketball will have their home opener on Thursday, November 21
st in the Meyer Center as they host the Haskell Indians. The game is set to tipoff at 5:00pm.
