Quincy, Ill. – The SBU women's volleyball team fell to the Nationally ranked Quincy Hawks 0-3 in their return to GLVC action Friday evening. The loss on the road moves the Bearcats to 11-13 (1-6 GLVC) on the season.
 
The Bearcats momentum started them out strong holding a 16-11 lead in set one over the 20^th ranked Hawks. But Quincy showed why they are the number one team in the GLVC as they stumped SBU's momentum.
 
Sophomore Rory Stanley had a career game tying her career high in kills with nine. She also had all those kills with 0 errors for an impressive .600 hitting percentage. Junior Ella Rademaker matched Stanley in kills with nine while also having one solo block and an assisted block. Katie Pogue had a team high 22 assists to go along with her three kills, seven digs, and 2 assisted blocks.  
 
The Bearcats will return to action Saturday afternoon as they travel across Illinois to take on the Prairie Stars of Illinois-Springfield. The game will take place inside the Recreation and Athletic Center at 3:00pm
