Quincy, Ill. – The SBU women's volleyball team fell to the Nationally ranked Quincy Hawks 0-3 in their return to GLVC action Friday evening. The loss on the road moves the Bearcats to 11-13 (1-6 GLVC) on the season.
The Bearcats momentum started them out strong holding a 16-11 lead in set one over the 20
th ranked Hawks. But Quincy showed why they are the number one team in the GLVC as they stumped SBU's momentum.
Sophomore
Rory Stanley had a career game tying her career high in kills with nine. She also had all those kills with 0 errors for an impressive .600 hitting percentage. Junior
Ella Rademaker matched Stanley in kills with nine while also having one solo block and an assisted block.
Katie Pogue had a team high 22 assists to go along with her three kills, seven digs, and 2 assisted blocks.
The Bearcats will return to action Saturday afternoon as they travel across Illinois to take on the Prairie Stars of Illinois-Springfield. The game will take place inside the Recreation and Athletic Center at 3:00pm
