Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU women's volleyball team hosted the Truman State Bulldogs in a GLVC matchup Saturday afternoon. The Bearcats were unable to extend their winning streak as they fell to the Bulldogs 1-3, moving to 8-12 (1-5 GLVC) on the season.

Katie Pogue had a strong game for the Bearcats recording a team high 33 assists and four serving aces. On top of those team highs, she recorded four kills and 11 digs. Sophomore
Hannah Jackson had a team high .333 hitting percentage with her 11 kills. Senior Sydney McNeil equaled Jackson in kills with 11 to go along with her six digs, two assists, and a solo block.
Ella Rademaker extended her double-digit kill streak to 16 as she recorded 16 kills on the game.
Southwest Baptist will now take a weekend off from GLVC play as they head to the Midwest Region Crossover. Over the course of two days, SBU will compete against other teams across the region on Friday and Saturday October 18

th in Hammond, Indiana. Schedule will be released early this next week.
