Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU women's volleyball team continued their conference schedule Friday evening as they hosted the Upper Iowa Peacocks. The Bearcats got their revenge from last year's loss defeating them 3-1.
It was a slow start for the Bearcats falling in the first set 17-25. Southwest Baptist swept the Peacocks from there on holding them to less than 20 points in each set following. Their best set was the final one as the Bearcats recorded a high 17 kills with a .342 hitting percentage.

Ella Rademaker were the top two hitters for the Bearcats each recording 18 kills apiece. Rademaker added a .316 hitting percentage for her second straight game hitting over .300. Junior
Katie Pogue is defining herself as the main setter for SBU recording a career high 45 assists along with 12 digs and four kills. Senior
Sydney McNeill led all Bearcats in digs with 18 total tagged along with her eight kills.
Southwest Baptist women's volleyball with return to action Saturday afternoon as they host the Truman State Bulldogs. The game will take place at the Meyer Wellness Center at 3:00pm.
