Bolivar, Mo. - The SBU Volleyball team kicked off their 2023 GLVC season on the road against the --University of Indianapolis Greyhounds. The Bearcats would fall in three sets moving them to 7-6 (0-1 GLVC) on the season. 

The Bearcats would struggle to find a rhythm against the Greyhounds and fell in three sets. Sophomore Ella Rademaker would lead the team in kills with 12 with a hitting percentage of .286. Senior Loran Pritchett would also help the Bearcats with her 11 kills, 5 assists, and 5 digs in the game. 

 Southwest Baptist will return to play tomorrow afternoon as they finish their weekend against the #20 team in the country, the Lewis University Flyers at 3:00 PM.
