Bolivar, Mo. - The SBU Volleyball team finished their first weekend of conference on the road today against the #20 team in the country, Lewis University Flyers. The Bearcats would fall to the Flyers making them 7-7 (0-2 GLVC) on the season.

The Bearcats would struggle to find a rhythm as they would lose the first set to the Flyers. The second set would be a different story as the Bearcats would keep the score close before the Flyers pulled away, winning the second set. In the third set, the Bearcats would continue to compete as they capitalized on Flyer mistakes however, it would not be enough as the Flyers would win the third and final set.

Southwest Baptist will be back in action at home next weekend as they face Missouri S&T at 6:00 PM in the Meyer Sports Center.
