Women's Soccer Concludes Home Stand With Loss to Flyers

Bolivar, Mo. - The SBU women's soccer team concluded a 5-game home stand this afternoon against Lewis University. The Bearcats fell to their conference foes by a score of 0-3. They move to 2-4-1 on the season. 

The Bearcats had a strong first half putting the pressure on the Flyers. They had many strong chances but were unable to find the back of the net. Freshman Annabelle Shuler had her first start as a Bearcat this afternoon starting at right back. She put on an impressive performance playing a full 90 minutes shutting down numerous of the Flyers attacks. 

Southwest Baptist will hit the road next weekend as they begin their trip at Missouri S&T. The game will take place at Allgood-Bailey Stadium with a scheduled start time of 5:00 PM.
