Durant, Okla. - The SBU volleyball team wrapped up non-conference play this afternoon in Oklahoma. They first took on East Central University and fell in the 5th set. Right after they went to another 5th set and won defeating Southeastern Oklahoma. They move to 7-5 on the season. 

Senior Loran Pritchett had an excellent day with 16 and 17 kills in the two games. For the first time in her career, she has had three straight 15+ kill games. So far this season she has 123 kills with a .250 hitting percentage.  

Junior Sydney McNeil had a season high of 15 kills in the Bearcats win over Southeastern Oklahoma. She also had a hitting percentage of .367 while tagging on a serving ace, eight digs, and an assisted block. The California State transfer is making an impact on the team heading into conference just two kills shy of a 100. 

Sophomores Bailey Lasater and Katie Pogue combined for 98 assists across the two games. Lasater had 55 of those giving her over 200 kills on the season. She currently sits 9th in the conference averaging 6.03 assists per set. Pogue gave 43 assists across the two games for her to have 182 assists on the season.  

Southwest Baptist will kick off their conference schedule next week as they travel across two states. They will begin taking on the Greyhounds of Indianapolis on Friday and Lewis University in Illinois on Saturday.
