Bolivar, Mo. - The SBU women's soccer team began conference play today as they hosted University of Indianapolis. The Bearcats fell to the Greyhounds by a final score of 0-3, this moves them to 2-3-1 (0-1 GLVC).
Senior goalkeeper Ashlynn Edison made eight saves in the game adding to her season total making it 35 on the year. Her career total of 169 is now 7th on the SBU all-time career record list. Five Bearcats played the full 90 minutes. Juniors Kendal Weiskopf, Abby Youngblood, and Abby Harrison made up the midfield and defense. Sophomore Tamerra Gantt and freshman Liv Baker also played the full 90 as forwards.
SBU will be back in action this Sunday as they host Lewis University. Game will take place at the SBU soccer field at 12:00 PM.
