Indianapolis, Ind. – The SBU women's basketball team had their final road game of the season this afternoon against the Greyhounds. The Bearcats had the lead early in the second half but fell in the end 65-76. That moves them to 12-14 (6-12 GLVC) on the season.
Kelsey Blakemore had another 20+ point game, her third out of the last four games. She had a career high 25 points off an impressive 8-11 (72.7%) shooting and 8-9 from the charity stripe. Blakemore tagged along six rebounds and four assists. Junior
Kallyn Stumbo continued her strong stretch today with five points, seven rebounds, and a career high 10 assists.
The Bearcats will return home this Thursday February 23
rd as they play host to Quincy University. SBU currently sit .03 points behind the Hawks in 9
th place. Tipoff for this game is scheduled for 5:30 PM.
