Bolivar, MO – The SBU Women's Basketball team was back at home tonight as they looked to bounce back against Ozark Christian College. The Bearcats would dominate the Ambassadors, 86-50 making them 3-5 (0-3 GLVC) on the season.
Junior transfer, Odett Schlegl would have herself a game against the Ambassadors as she set a new career high, putting up 18 points. Fellow juniors Khylee Massey and Bianca Oliver would also contribute to the Bearcats as Massey would record a season-high with 11 points while Oliver recorded a season-high in rebounds with 10. Senior Kallyn Stumbo continued to perform for the Bearcats as she recorded her second game with an impressive 6.0 assist-to-turnover ratio along with her 8 points and 3 steals. Sophomore Kori Cromer also had 10 points, 3 assists, and 2 rebounds while senior Milena Fromming recorded 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists.
Southwest Baptist will look to continue their momentum as they return to conference play as they face the Rockhurst University Hawks. Tip-off is set for 5:15 PM in the Meyer Sports Center on Thursday, December 7th.
