Bolivar, MO – The SBU Women's Basketball team was back in action today as they played their last game of the year against the Hannibal-LaGrange University Trojans. The Bearcats would dominate the Trojans 96-39, extending their win streak to four and making them 6-5 (2-3 GLVC) on the season. 
The Bearcat's defensive effort continued to show as they held the Trojans to just 39 points, the second least amount of points allowed this season. The Bearcats also took care of business on offense as nine SBU players had over five points while four had over 10. SBU was led by junior transfer Odett Schlegl who has continued to perform for the Bearcats. She set a new career-high with 22 points along with her 4 assists and 3 rebounds. Senior Kallyn Stumbo continued her dominating season as she put up an impressive 10 points, 8 assists, and a new career-high with 6 steals. Junior Bianca Oliver would also have herself a game as she was perfect from the field going 4-4 and finishing the game with 9 points and 3 rebounds. Sophomore Kori Cromer put up 13 points with a .714 shooting percentage from the field while junior Tori Hamilton would put up 10 points by going 4-5 from the field for an .800 shooting percentage. 
Southwest Baptist will be back in action on Wednesday, Jan 3rd as they look to take their winning streak into the new year, returning to conference play. The Bearcats are set to face the William Jewell Cardinals at the Meyer Sports Center at 5:30 PM.
