Romeoville, IL – The SBU Women's Basketball team finished their long road trip this weekend in Illinois as they faced Lewis University. The Bearcats would fall to the Flyers, 62-73 making them 2-5 (0-3 GLVC) on the season. 

The Bearcats were led by junior transfer, Odett Schlegl who recorded a new career-high tonight against the Flyers. Schlegl's career-highs were in points, as she put up 11 points going 4-6 from the field and 3-4 from the three-point line. Senior Tori Hamilton continued to perform for the Bearcats as she recorded 9 points and 7 rebounds. Senior Karlee Holland would also contribute to the Bearcats as she also put up 9 points along with 2 assists. 

Southwest Baptist will be back at home next week as they start their week off against Ozark Christian College. Tip-off is set for 5:30 PM at the Meyer Sports Center.
