Indianapolis, IN – The SBU Women's Basketball team hit the road as they traveled to Indiana to face the University of Indianapolis. The Bearcats would fall to the Greyhounds 68-77 making them 2-4 (0-2 GLVC) on the season.
The Bearcats were led by senior Kallyn Stumbo who had herself a game against the Greyhounds as she had an impressive 6.0 assist to turnover ratio along with 14 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists. Junior Tori Hamilton would also contribute to the Bearcats as she led the team in points (15) and rebounds (8). Senior Karlee Holland would also set a career-high in steals with 3 along with putting up 11 points for SBU.
Southwest Baptist will look to bounce back on Saturday as they continue conference play against the Lewis University Flyers. Tip-off is set for 1:00 PM at the Neil Carey Arena in Romeoville, IL.
