Cedarville, Ohio – The SBU men's basketball team wrapped up the Don Callan Classic this afternoon in a tightly matched game against Ashland University. The Bearcats fell to the Eagles, who are receiving votes in the National Poll, by a final score of 62-66. They move to 0-4 on the season.

Graham Chenault and redshirt sophomore
Noah Franklin led the scoring for SBU each with 15 points. Chenault continues to impress from beyond the arc going 3-5, making him 10-15 one of the top-10 percentages in the Nation. Franklin had his season high off 5-8 from the field and 2-3 from three. He also led the team in rebounds with six, while contributing a steal and assist to his stats.
Southwest Baptist will return home as they host Hannibal-LaGrange on Tuesday. It will be an afternoon game in the Meyer Center as tipoff is scheduled for 3:00pm, after the women's game.
