Nashville, TN – The SBU Women's Basketball team finished their trip to Nashville, TN this weekend as they faced Kentucky Wesleyan College. The Bearcats would fall to the Panthers 55-81 making them 0-2 on the season.
Senior Teagan Brouwer led the Bearcats as she had her first double-double of the season as she put up 13 points along with 11 rebounds. Sophomore Kristin Edmonds also had 9 points and 3 rebounds as she went 3-5 from the field.
Southwest Baptist will be back in action next week for their home opener on Tuesday against Missouri Baptist University. It will be Coach Harrell's first game in front of the Bearcat faithful making it a purple out night at SBU. Tipoff is set for 5:30 PM in the Meyer Sports Center.
