Bolivar, Mo. - The SBU volleyball team took a break from conference to battle Baptist Bible College. The Bearcats handled the Patriots with ease sweeping them 3-0. That win moves them to 13-11 on the season.  

Every Bearcat that dressed out made an appearance in tonight's game against the Patriots. Freshman Dylan Cochran doubled her season kills today by leading the team with eight. Four other Bearcats were second on kills with four total including Loran Pritchett, Deryan Simpson, Sydney McNeill, and Carlee Lill. Sophomore Bailey Lasater led the team with 19 assists, as well junior Gabby Belcher had a career high 2 assists. Freshman Rory Stanley added to her already impressive freshman season with four assisted blocks giving her 89 on the season. 

Southwest Baptist will return to play tomorrow as they host their rivals in Drury University. The game is scheduled to take place at 3:00pm in the afternoon at the Meyer Wellness Center.
