Liberty, Mo. - The SBU women's basketball team got back on the road this afternoon as they took on the William Jewell Cardinals. The Bearcats controlled a majority of the game and won by a final score of 68-53. That moves them 10-9 (4-7 GLVC) on the season.

The Bearcats had another strong outing holding their opponent to under 60 points for the 10
th time this season. They also held the Cardinals to only 18 field goals and 32% from the field.
Sophomore
Kelsey Blakemore recorded her first double-double of the season and a near triple-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists. Junior Tori Hamilton scored a career high 19 points off 8-10 from the field and a perfect 3-3 from the charity stripe to go along with eight rebounds.

Kelsey Blakemore had one her best all-around performances of her career. With a near triple double, she led our offense with confidence and poise. This team just continues to get better and better." Keizer said.
The Bearcats will return to action on Thursday January 26
th as they host their rival in Drury University. This will be the one and only regular season matchup between these two teams in the 2022-23 season. The Panthers are currently ranked 3
rd in the Nation. Tipoff for this game is scheduled for 5:30 PM in the Meyer Center.
