Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU women's basketball finished non-conference play today as they battled the Cottey College Comets. The Bearcats handled them easily winning the game 77-44. They move to 7-6 on the season.
 
The Bearcats extended their winning streak to 4 behind another strong defensive effort. They held the Comets to only 44 points and 34.8% from the field. Offensively the team shot 42% from the field and 44% from beyond the arc. Karlee Holland led the team in points with 13 knocking down 3 three pointers. Tori Hamilton was one point shy of a double-double pulling down 12 rebounds.
 
Southwest Baptist will return to action this Saturday January 7^th as they return to conference play. They will take on the Lewis University Flyers with a scheduled tipoff of 1:00 PM.
