Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. - The SBU Volleyball team played in their final two games of the Eagle Classic today going 1-1 on the day, moving to 1-3 on the season.

In game 1, SBU took down the hosts Oklahoma Christian in a tightly matched 5 sets. In set 1, the Bearcats set the tone of the match by winning 25-11. The Eagles struck back winning sets two and three, putting the Bearcats on the verge of a loss. They handled the pressure perfectly by winning set 4, 25-22. Trailing by as many as four points in the 5
th set, the Bearcats came back again and won 15-13.

Later in the day, SBU finished the tournament against old MIAA foe Fort Hays State University. Bearcats were unable to take down the Lions and fell in three sets.

Azaela Clendenning and
Rachel Francis were the team leader in kills on the day, each having 20. Freshman
Katie Pogue had a career high 25 assists in the game against Oklahoma Christian. Freshman
Ella Rademaker showed off her serving skills with 3 aces on the day.

The Bearcats return home this Friday and Saturday for the SBU/Drury Invitational. First match is scheduled against Lake Superior State at 9:30am.
