The women's team has advanced to the Midwest Regionals finals after beating the seven seed, University of Findley. The Bearcats were down 1-0 after the doubles round, but fought back hard to get the 4-2 win. Singles winners included (1) Diana Cabrera, (2) Paula Ballesteros, (3) Elsa Pascual, and (4) Ghada Dirninger. After falling behind in the first set, Ballesteros bounced back quickly to secure the win for the Bearcats after winning sets one and two. The Bearcats will face the six seed, Grand Valley State University at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 7 at the John A. Bryant Tennis Center.
