Reese's Strong Outing Not Enough as Bearcats Fall to Cardinals
Corbin Reese had the longest outing of his career, but it was not enough as the Bearcats fell 4-3 to William Jewell. Reese pitched 7.2 innings giving up four earned runs, three coming in the top of the 8
th. The Bearcats scored two runs in the 3
rd when William Jewell overthrew first base, scoring
Ayden Fetters and
Colby Sneed, who had both singled earlier in the inning. The third run for the Bearcats came from
Brock Wilken who hit his third homerun of the season.
