Carmack Gets Complete Game, Bearcats Split Doubleheader with Cardinals

In a hitters duel, the Bearcats fell 13-10 in game one of a Saturday doubleheader.
Brock Wilken led the Bearcats with four RBIs and
Evan Turnquist followed with three RBIs of his own. Turnquist hit his second homerun of the season in the 6
th.
Colby Sneed,
Ayden Fetters, and Turnquist each recorded two hits apiece.Â

Game two saw a complete game from both pitchers. SBU prevailed 5-2, and
Ryan Carmack recorded his first win of the season.  Carmack had help from several Bearcats at the plate.
Colby Sneed went 3-3 and
Zeke Skinner went 2-4 with 2 RBIs. He hit his second homerun of the season after Sneed had singled to left field in the second.
Eli Smock also recorded two RBIs when he singled in the 5
th, scoring Sneed and
Brock Wilken.Â

The Bearcats and Cardinals close out the series with first pitch scheduled at 1:00 pm on Sunday.
