Bearcats Fall to UMSL

The Bearcats fell to the University of Missouri St. Louis in the conference home opener Friday night, 8-2. Brennan Espy led the team with two hits and Eli Smock knocked in two runs on a single to left center in the bottom of the 5th. Senior Corbin Reese pitched 6 strong innings in relief for the Bearcats, only giving up one earned run. 
 
The series continues with a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 2:00 pm.
