Men and Women Fall in Close Matches at Northwest Missouri
In a singles first match against Northwest Missouri State, the men fought hard in singles to get three wins at the 3, 5, and 6 spots, but ultimately lost the doubles point and fell 4-3.
Youssef Nabil continued his dominance on the court at 3 singles. He is now 7-0 after winning 6-2, 3-6, 6-4.
Carlos Corser won his 5
th match of the season at the 5 singles, 7-6, 7-6.
Max Sanoja followed with his fourth win at the 6 spot, 7-5, 7-5. In the doubles match,
Makary Adamek and
David Szeri won at the 3 spot, 7-5, but SBU lost the 1 and 2 matches.
In similar fashion as the men, the women went into doubles tied 3-3 and were not able to secure the doubles point. The three wins on the singles side came from (2)

Elsa Pascual, and (5)
Lola Cincunegui.
Diana Cabrera and
Paula Ballesteros teamed up to win their 7
th match of the season together at the 1 doubles spot, winning 6-4.
