Baseball Falls to Pitt State on the Road
The Bearcats were unable to overcome a six run first inning and fell 14-2 to Pittsburg State on the road.
Brennan Espy saw his first action on the mound in the 6
th inning for the Bearcats and gave up zero runs in a 1-2-3 inning.
The lone runs for the Bearcats came in the fourth inning when
Eli Smock doubled and scored
Joe Wade. After a strike out by Hagenhoff, freshman
Ayden Fetters singled to right field to score
Brock Wilken.
The Bearcats hope to bounce back this weekend at home against Purdue University Nothwest. First pitch is scheduled for 3:00 pm.
