Romeoville, Ill- The SBU women's basketball team wrapped up their regular season road games today as they took on the Lewis University Flyers. The Bearcats jumped out to an early lead and led by as many as 13. They held the lead for a majority of the game but fell by a final score of 64-66. That loss moves the Bearcats to 14-12 (9-9 GLVC) on the season.

Kyleigh Vaught not only scored her career high 33 points in this game but also scored her 1,000-career point as a Bearcat. Vaught only needed 14 points to reach 1,000 and she hit all 14 of those in the first quarter, knocking down 4 three pointers. She finished the game shooting 10-19 (52.6%) from the field and 5-8 (62.5%) from beyond the arc.
Nyah Pettus also had a big game getting her second double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

th against the Truman State Bulldogs. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 PM.
